These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Carenzo (the "Service"), including our website, application, and related services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Description of Service

Carenzo provides a cloud-based platform for pet care professionals to manage their business operations, including client management, pet profiles, calendar and reservations, messaging, document storage, and related tools.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellations

The Service may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) and may automatically renew unless you cancel.

  • Payments: Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Taxes: Prices may exclude taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or similar governmental assessments.
  • Plan changes: Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations take effect as described at checkout or in your billing settings.
  • Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at the time of purchase.

6. Your Data and Content

The Service allows you to create client records, pet profiles, reservations, messages, and upload documents ("Customer Data"). You retain ownership of Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data only as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for Customer Data you provide, including ensuring you have the rights and permissions necessary to use and share it through the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Access the Service in an unauthorized manner, bypass rate limits, or attempt to gain access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent permitted by law.
  • Upload malware or harmful code, or use the Service to transmit spam.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Carenzo or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9. Privacy and Cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including our use of cookies, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carenzo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination may result in loss of access to Customer Data; where reasonably possible, we will allow you to export your data before termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
